Discover Bep Viet

If you're looking for a fantastic place to enjoy flavorful and authentic Vietnamese dishes in Frederiksberg, Denmark, Bep Viet is a must-visit. Located at Godthåbsvej 8, this charming diner has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty bowl of pho or a refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee, Bep Viet offers a diverse menu that captures the true essence of Vietnamese cuisine.

One of the standout features of Bep Viet is its welcoming atmosphere. The interior is cozy yet modern, blending traditional elements with a contemporary touch. It’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or family, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The restaurant's owners have worked hard to create an environment that feels like a home away from home, which is part of what makes it so special.

The menu at Bep Viet is a true testament to the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam. From their signature pho, made with a broth that simmers for hours, to their bánh mì sandwiches, which are loaded with fresh ingredients, every dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. Each bite is a reminder of how important fresh herbs and spices are to Vietnamese cuisine. The flavors are bold yet balanced, with an emphasis on aromatic herbs, tangy lime, and the ever-popular fish sauce.

If you’re unsure about what to try, the pho is a great place to start. The beef pho, in particular, is a crowd favorite. The tender slices of beef are perfectly paired with a rich and fragrant broth that’s been carefully brewed with a mix of spices like star anise, cinnamon, and cloves. The dish is then garnished with fresh herbs and served with a side of bean sprouts, lime, and chili, allowing you to customize the flavor to your liking.

Another must-try dish is the bánh xèo, a Vietnamese savory pancake filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, creating a delightful contrast of textures. It’s often served with a side of lettuce and herbs, which you can wrap around the pancake for a refreshing bite.

The service at Bep Viet is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel well taken care of from the moment you walk in. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and more than happy to recommend dishes if you’re unsure about what to order. They also do an excellent job of explaining the ingredients and preparations, adding to the overall dining experience.

In addition to the main menu, Bep Viet also offers a variety of refreshing beverages that perfectly complement the bold flavors of the dishes. Their iced Vietnamese coffee is a real treat-smooth, rich, and sweetened with condensed milk. It’s the kind of drink that’s both energizing and satisfying, making it a perfect choice for those who want to try something new.

One of the things that makes Bep Viet stand out from other Vietnamese restaurants in the area is its dedication to authenticity. The owners are committed to bringing traditional Vietnamese flavors to Denmark, and it shows in every dish. Whether you’re a seasoned fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, you’ll find that the flavors are spot-on. Plus, the restaurant's casual vibe makes it easy to feel comfortable and enjoy the food at your own pace.

Bep Viet also boasts an impressive selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The vegetarian pho, for instance, is just as delicious as the meat-based version, with a rich broth and plenty of fresh vegetables. This makes the restaurant a great choice for diners with dietary restrictions or preferences.

If you’re looking for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner, Bep Viet is the perfect spot to indulge in Vietnamese flavors. It’s a place where every dish tells a story of tradition, flavor, and passion. Whether you're coming for a solo meal or sharing a feast with loved ones, you'll always leave satisfied. With its prime location in Frederiksberg, it’s no wonder that Bep Viet has become a staple in the local dining scene.

  • As asian foodies with kids one of our must-eat options when on holiday is take-out Vietnamese. This time we ate the Bun Bo Hue, Pho bo and the Fried rice. The quality and quantity of the food was very good, it was one of the best Vietnamese foods we have had in all of europe. Especially the Bun Bo Hue rivals that of the Vietnamese shops in Paris. Can absolutely see they care about the food they give out. They just renamed the restaurant to Bep Viet, Google may need some time to still change the name. For sure recommend this place to foodies. Pictures for reference, take-out Pics don’t always look as good as when eating on the spot, but i can assure you the taste was on point. The garnish such as coriander and spring onions/aromatics they give out is also a very good portion.

  • This is a really delicious restaurant run and cooked by Vietnamese people. I visited three days in a row because they had such a diverse menu. It was similar to the food I had in Ho Chi Minh.

  • This restaurant turn to be my favourite Vietnamese restaurant I have tried in Copenhagen. Best Pho I’ve tried and the summer rolls is the best.

  • We were looking for a place to eat after a late flight and craving Asian food. Despite it being close to 11pm closing, the waitress welcomed us in and never rushed us during the meal. We ordered the beef bun, lotus root salad, and fresh spring rolls and the meal was exactly what we were craving; everything was so fresh and delicious. The waitress here was so kind throughout our meal and even took the time to pack our takeaway with care, which was so appreciated. Highly recommend coming here to dine-in or takeaway!

  • The pho at Bep Viet Restaurant in Frederiksberg is fresh and inviting, with a good mix of herbs, bean sprouts, and a slice of lemon to add brightness. The broth has a clear, rich appearance, suggesting a careful preparation. The addition of fresh chili gives a nice kick, balancing the flavors. It’s a comforting, well-presented dish that brings together traditional elements with a clean presentation. Perfect for a cozy meal.

  • You must visit this restaurant if you are Vietnamese and living in Copenhagen. I have tried Phở and Bún Bò there, its taste was really good but it was not exactly the same comparing with Vietnam. Owner is Vietnamese, I guess she is a North people may be Ha Noi.
